April Babies of the Month – Meet Francisco & Fernanda

After nine years of being with my husband we finally talked about having kids.  For six months we tried to get pregnant and were not successful. My OB/GYN started doing a bunch of tests to find out why I was not getting pregnant and discovered that both of my fallopian tubes were closed.

My doctor said that if I wanted to have kids my option would be to do IVF and after I did some research, we found Dr. Ekpo with Laurel Fertility Care.  The first time I met her, I just had this feeling that she was going to be the one to help us make our dreams come true.  After my second embryo transfer, I was pregnant with twins!

Thank you to Dr. Ekpo and the whole team at Laurel Fertility Care for always treating us great.  Here are our little miracles Francisco Javier Orozco Jr. and Fernanda Orozco, born on November 13, 2020.
