Fertility for Black families

Black families deserve fertility care that’s not only excellent, but affirming, culturally aware, and rooted in justice. We understand the added barriers Black women and couples often face—and we’re here to provide support that listens, honors your experience, and helps you build the family you dream of.

Let’s talk about the realities

Fertility challenges impact all communities, but Black women and couples often face unique and overlooked struggles:

  • Black women are 1.8x more likely to experience infertility than women of other races, yet are far less likely to access or receive fertility treatment.
  • Many experience longer delays before seeing a specialist, often due to cultural stigma, mistrust of medical systems, or a desire for privacy.
  • Conditions like fibroids, blocked tubes, and hormonal imbalances are more common and often more severe in Black women.
  • Even with access to IVF, Black women are statistically less likely to achieve a successful live birth compared to white women.

But here’s what’s also true: With the right care—compassionate, personalized, and informed—Black families can and do thrive.

Black families - it's about equity

It’s not just about biology.
It’s about equity.

It’s not just about biology. It’s about equity.

We understand that financial strain, missed work, and cultural stigma all contribute to underutilization of fertility treatment in underrepresented communities. That’s why we work to:

  • Help you understand what your insurance covers—and what support is available

  • Offer flexible financing options to ease the burden

  • Create a space that honors your questions, fears, faith, and full humanity

  • Advocate for better outcomes by bringing awareness to disparities in fertility care and maternal health

You’re not alone—and you don’t have to do this alone

We believe healing happens in community. If you’re looking for support, education, or inspiration, these Black-led organizations are powerful places to begin.
